Co-Founder & Lead Coordinator

With 20 years in the hospitality industry, 7 years as a wedding coordinator, and 3 years as a floral designer with Wild Blooms Bridal, Jessica has seen it all—from mountaintop elopements to backyard chaos and everything in between.

She’s passionate about curating beautiful spaces and collaborating with creatives to bring wedding days to life. As a mom of two young children, she understands how much time, energy, and love goes into planning life’s biggest moments—and how important it is to have someone you trust handling the details when it's all over.

Her heart is rooted in family, flowers, and supporting local businesses, and The Breakdown Co. reflects all of it.

With over 25 years in hospitality and the food industry, plus two decades as a professional HVAC journeyman, Nic is no stranger to hard work—or to getting the job done right. For years, he’s been Jessica’s steady partner behind the scenes, helping create and dismantle large floral installations and working late into the night to make sure events end as beautifully as they begin.

Now, Nic is stepping fully into this role, building a business that lets him work alongside his wife, spend more time with their children, and use his skills to help couples end their celebrations without stress. Strong, reliable, and deeply committed to family, Nic brings the same care to every event that he does to his own home. It’s that dedication that shapes everything The Breakdown Co. stands for.

Look, we know planning a wedding (or any big event) comes with a lot of moving parts—and even more questions. That’s why we broke it down (pun absolutely intended) and built this FAQ just for you.
Whether you're wondering how late we’ll stay, what we’ll lift, or whether we’ve ever accidentally knocked over a cake (spoiler: nope), this is where you'll find all the juicy details.

Do I need to be there during setup or breakdown?

Not at all—that’s what we’re here for. Once we have a clear plan and timeline from you or your vendor team, we’ll take it from there. Whether you’re getting ready, recovering from the night before, or already headed home, you can trust us to get it done exactly as discussed.

Do you only work weddings, or other events too?

While weddings are our specialty, we’re happy to work any event that needs a helping hand—birthdays, corporate events, showers, or large private gatherings. If it has tables, chairs, florals, or rentals… we’ll break it down.

Can you coordinate with my venue or other vendors?

Absolutely. We’re used to working alongside venues, caterers, planners, and florists to make sure everyone’s cleanup expectations are aligned. We’ll happily connect in advance to coordinate timing, logistics, and access.

How late will your team stay on event night?

We offer both same-night and next-day breakdown services. For night-of cleanups, we typically arrive 30 minutes before guest departure and stay until the job is complete. For late-night events, we’ll work with your planner or venue to determine the best timeline.

Are you insured?

Yes! The Breakdown Co. is fully insured, and we’re happy to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) if your venue requires one. We also carry liability coverage and can add vendors or venues as additionally insured upon request.
